Our team

Matt Rogers

Matt by Matt- A glorious leader in waiting and, potentially the second coming. Likes walks in the park GSOH.

Matt by Nat- Frighteningly unpredictable, weirdly intense hatred for seemingly all animals, does not get football…at…all.

Alongside his work with Uncanny Matt has pursued his own individual projects such as “Foolish Men“, “I’d Like To Marry You” and “The High Speed Devotion Motion Handbook”. He has worked with a range of companies including Invisible Flock, Institute for Crazy Dancing and Slung Low as well as working to support a wide selection of artists in the region, providing directorial assistance in the development of a number of productions including Ellie Harrison’s “Etiquette of Grief” and Odd Doll Puppetry’s “The Trick”. In previous versions of his life Matt also toured as a stand up comedian and co-founded an award winning physical theatre company. He does alright.

Natalie Bellingham

Nat by Nat- Has always wanted to be magical, collects dead things and is embarrassed about how funny she finds it when people give a voice to animals.

Nat by Matt-  A terrifying ball of anxious energy. Possesses the incredible ability to construct a semi-realistic version of literally anything, using naught but rubbish that she finds around the house.

Natalie has trained with some of the most talented comedy professionals in the UK and abroad including John Wright, Jamie Wood, Phillip Gaulier and The Actor’s Space. She has enjoyed performing professionally in the UK and abroad. Alongside her work with Uncanny Natalie also works with Unlimited Theatre, Wakefield Theatre Royal, Lawrence Batley Theatre, Tell Tale Hearts and The Faceless Company as well as designing and delivering a number of creative projects for the Yorkshire Sculpture Park. She is an artist mentor for the Masters course at Leeds Beckett University and later in 2016 she will be working with Odd Doll Puppetry on their horror puppet show for adults.
